Everyone has a unique personality. Chihuahua is cute, active and displays human expression (grimace). This tiny companion is deeply devoted and loyal. It is bold, fearless and particularly protective for its owner. He is happy when he enjoys your attention. He is cautious about the presence of foreigners and becomes an excellent guardian. This breed is not suitable for young children and does not coexist easily with other pets.

History of Chihuahua

The origin of Chihuahua is uncertain. He may have come to Mexico from Chinese, but he is even more likely to come from Aztec dogs, including the Techichi breed. It was the Aztec’s favorite sacred animal, who ate it as a sacred food, sacrificing it to the gods and believing that he brought good luck to the house. Chihuahua is believed to have come to Spain by the Spanish conquerors. Reproduction of Chihuahua was originally made in the United States in the nineteenth century. Soon the value of this breed was recognized. It is the oldest breed in America and it has arrived in Europe since the Second World War.

Health Care

It presents problems in the eyes and shows heart disease. It easily gains weight, making it obese and therefore prone to joint injuries, the collapse of the trachea, chronic bronchitis, and reduced lifespan.
