Beagle

Description

One of the classic dogs that “follow their nose”, Beagles have remarkable smell skills. It learns to distinguish different odors and was used mainly in hunting the hare. As a pet is a loyal dog, child-friendly, smart and playful. It is also known to have a very sweet voice. It adapts very easily to a home, but its owners need to know that it can not be left alone for a long time. Beagle is an active, happy dog and because he is smart and willing to please his training is satisfied. It is cool, courageous and hardy. He is an enthusiastic, efficient tracer and can hunt alone in couples or with more dogs. It adapts to any environment and can become a wonderful companion and family dog. If not properly trained, indifference can pose a problem. It tends to run behind anything that draws its attention.

Because he is a very active dog he needs daily walks combined with exercise. Since he has developed the instinct of the hunter when riding out, he must be tethered. He must live in a safe enclosed courtyard because he is ready to follow anything that attracts his attention. Particular attention should be paid to cleaning the ears to avoid infections. His relationships with children are excellent, but he does well with other dogs and has problems with other pets because of his hunting nature. He is not a good dog as a guard because he is particularly social and though somewhat cautious with strangers at first. But strange barking can alert you of strange actions.

History of the Beagle

It is a very old English breed, which dates from the third century. Beagle was particularly neat during the reign of Henry II and Elizabeth A. They always used it to hunt rabbits, hares, foxes, wild boars and deer, and this has made it popular in the rest of Europe from 1860 onwards. It is valued for its small size, coolness, efficiency, and speed.
